The Go Mad ( Go Make  A Difference ) Builders Club  is a  mentoring program at South View Middle  School that focuses on mentoring. We believe that in order to be great mentors to others we must first be a mentor to ourselves. Recently our mentors took a field trip to the Fayetteville Observer.  Mr. Myron Pitts was our guide, and the mentors were very engaged in learning about the  different aspects of working at a newspaper.  Some of the mentors even mentioned having careers in the field of Journalism. Students saw how the printed word makes a difference in our school, the community and even the world.  As our Motto states: Today we lead the school; Tomorrow we lead the world.
