Bobcat, mascot of South View Middle School.Fall Sports include Football, Girls Volleyball, Boys Soccer, Girls Track & Field and Pep Squad.  Tuesday, October 24, the Track Meet is @ Reid Ross which is the Division Meet for Cumberland County. On Wednesday, October 25, the Volleyball Team will play Lewis Chapel at Home, and the Soccer Team will play Hope Mills at Home. On Thursday, October 26, the football team is Away against Lewis Chapel Middle.  All events start at 4pm and cost $4 with the exception of Track which is $3.
Please use this site _ARBITERLIVE_ to register your child for all the sports they want to play this year. Please select the “Pre-participation” tab on the left of the  page under the team logo, where you will find video tutorials on their site to assist you in registering your child.  Please contact Libby Rogers, Athletic Director, if you have any questions.

Clubs are getting started at SVMS. Many are holding Interest Meetings this week and next week. SGA is holding a meeting on Wednesday, September 13 (Robbins/McIntosh) as well as Drama Club (Moultrie) and Science Oympiad (Pacquette).  SGA Applications are due Friday, September 15 to Mr. McIntosh. On Thursday, September 14, the Battle of the Books Club (Phillips) and the Forensics Club (Speights) is meeting as well as FBLA (Simmons).  On Wednesday, September 20, the PINK Club (Early) is meeting. Get involved in one or more activities or clubs. Most meetings end at 3:15 or 3:30 but check with club sponsor for more specifics. This is a great way to make friends and become a part of your Middle School. And it is FUN!

Dancing TeensFriday, September 22, we’re having a Back to School Dance at SVMS from 3-5pm in the Gym. Come out and have fun. Dance, talk, enjoy free time, and just hang out with your friends. The cost is $5 or only $2 if you use 50 PBIS points. The concession stand will be open with snacks and drinks.  It is going to be a fabulous afternoon.
