Parent Technolgy NightSouth View Middle School held its first Parent Technolgy Night of the year on Tuesday, November 27, 2012. Parents were treated to a demonstration of EDMODO, Smartboard classroom usage, and BRIDGIT distance learning in the classroom.  Several teachers at SVMS use EDMODO for assignments, grades, and communicating with students and parents so parents were given hands-on instructions on how to access EDMODO for this exciting teacher-parent linkage. Some parents came alone but others brought their children and what a special time it was to watch students teaching parents this new concept in learning.  Having parents and guardians involved in their child’s education is extremely important and something we at South View Middle School encourage and hold with utmost value.  This was quite evident on Tuesday evening.
