FYI banner for more informationSummer school will be from 8:30 – 11:30 on Tuesday, May 28th and Wednesday, May 29th for Science and ELA. When students arrive, they will report to the cafeteria. Testing will be at 8:30 on Thursday, May 30th.  All students taking the ELA will take it in the morning.  Any student who is only taking Science will take it in the morning.  8th graders who must take both will take ELA in the morning, break for lunch, then take Science in the afternoon.  Lunch will be provided for ONLY those students taking a morning and afternoon test.

Image of Sports Physical location Sports Physical Day – Fayetteville Orthopaedics! Middle and High School student-athletes come get your sports physical on Saturday, June 8th between 8 am – 12 noon for just $10 at Fayetteville Orthopaedics. Location: 1991 Fordham Drive, Suite 100 on First Floor, off Village Drive. Your $10 payment will be donated right back to your school so it is a win-win situation. No appointment needed, bring the school’s physical form (Click Here), if under 18 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian, and bring glasses if you wear them.

M RobbinsMs. Monica Robbins, a social studies teacher at South View Middle School, is currently in her 8th year as an educator. She earned her Bachelors of Science in Middle Grades Education (Reading K-12 and Social Studies 6-9) and a Bachelor’s of Arts in History from Fayetteville State Unversity. Currently, Ms. Robbins is anticipating the completion of her Masters in Educational Leadership from Gardner-Webb University in May 2019. Ms. Robbins has recently been honored with being named the South View Middle School Teacher of the Year as well as the South View Attendance District Teacher of the Year for the 2018-2019 school year. Ms. Robbins holds true to her personal motto of “Destined to Inspire” as she interacts and supports her students, and educators alike, on a daily basis.  Congratulations Ms. Monica Robbins. Your school and district family is very proud of you.
