Bobcat, mascot of South View Middle School.Breaking News: SVMS is offering Sports Physicals on August 18th starting at 2pm – Cost is $15 Cash!
Cumberland County Schools has partnered with Arbiter Sports to digitize all of our eligibility paperwork. You can complete all requirements online on a computer, tablet, or phone. Parents and students are required to complete athletic participation paperwork online for the 2017-18 school year.

Please use this site _ARBITERLIVE_ to register your child for all the sports they want to play this year. Please select the “Pre-participation” tab on the left of the  page under the team logo, where you will find video tutorials on their site to assist you in registering your child.  Please contact Libby Rogers, Athletic Director, if you have any questions.

Fall Sports include Football, Girls Volleyball, Boys Soccer, Girls Track & Field and Pep Squad.  Practice for each sport will begin on Monday, August 28, 2017.  Each athlete will need to attend a pre-season meeting with a parent or guardian on Thursday, August 24, during Open House. Paperwork along with a physical form must be filled out completely to participate in any sport.

FYI banner for more informationThe SVMS 6th Grade Transition Day is scheduled for Thursday, August 24, 2017 from 9am – 12 noon.  Students will meet teachers and other faculty/staff and receive their class schedule. Students will walk through their schedule as if it were a real day in order to prepare for the first day of school and ease any worries rising 6th graders and parents may have.  Regular Open House is scheduled for Thursday, August 24 from 4-6pm for our 7th and 8th graders. We look forward to seeing students and parents.

Lunch Break for Free Breakfast and LunchCommunity Eligibility Provision
Cumberland County Schools (CCS) Child Nutrition Services is excited to announce The Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) will continue in many schools for the 2017-2018 school year.  The provision will enable each student enrolled in the participating schools to receive a breakfast and lunch at no cost on days when school is in session. Check here for a list of schools participating in the program.
