Team Panthers – 8th Grade

PANTHERS

Panthers live mainly in three places, and are called something different in all three. In Latin America, they are called black jaguars. In Africa, the are called black leopards, and North America, black cougars. Panthers, both black leopards and black jaguars, are found mainly in dense rainforest areas, but they can also be found in marshland, woodlands, swamps, savannahs, and even mountains and deserts. Panthers are carnivores and eat meat as their main source of nourishment.

Agenda Policy: Students will be given an agenda at the beginning of the year. It is important that your student brings this to every class. We use the agenda as a way of informing parents of the student’s daily activities, organizing dates, assignments, and major events, along with monitoring student behaviors and progress. Your child is expected to write in the agenda daily for all subjects. Your child will use the agenda as a hall pass. This is an important communication tool between teachers and parents. Replacement cost for a lost agenda is $5.
